Press & Media

For journalists & editors.

Xene Gallery is a London-based, 4th-generation Persian metalwork atelier. We welcome editorial inquiries, studio visits, and image requests.

Brand story

The short version.

Founded in 1910 and now run by the 4th generation of the founding family, Xene Gallery makes one-of-a-kind fine art metalwork by hand in London. Our work draws on the visual grammar of Persepolis, Isfahan and the wider Persianate world, executed through traditional Iranian techniques — Qalamzani (chasing), Noghre-koobi (silver inlay), Tala-koobi (gold inlay), and Mina-kari (vitreous enamel).

We accept bespoke commissions worldwide for private collectors, corporate clients, and royal and diplomatic presentations, and restore antique Persian metalwork. Signature work includes The Lion of Persepolis in steel, copper and gold.
