Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 June 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of xenegallery.com and any commission, sale, or restoration agreement entered into with Xene Ltd ("Xene Gallery", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept them.

2. The works

Every piece is handmade in our London atelier. Minor variations in colour, finish, and dimension are inherent to handwork and are not defects. Photographs are representative; commissioned pieces are unique.

3. Commissions

Commissions begin once a written brief and a non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) are agreed. The balance is due before shipment. Lead time is communicated in the proposal and depends on materials, complexity, and our atelier schedule. Substantive scope changes after work has started may incur additional fees.

4. Pricing & payment

Prices are quoted in GBP unless stated and are exclusive of taxes, customs duties, and shipping. Accepted payment methods are listed in your invoice.

5. Shipping

We ship worldwide via insured fine-art couriers. Title and risk pass on delivery. International orders may be subject to import duties payable by the recipient.

6. Returns

Bespoke and commissioned works are non-returnable. Stock pieces purchased via the gallery may be returned within 14 days of delivery, in original condition, at the buyer's cost; refunds are issued within 14 days of receipt.

7. Warranty

We warrant our work against defects in materials and craftsmanship for one year from delivery. The warranty excludes wear, accidental damage, or unauthorised repairs.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, photographs, and content on this site are owned by Xene Ltd. You may not reproduce them without written permission.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the relevant work. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
